" Community helpers"

‘If you become a helper of hearts, springs of wisdom will flow from your heart' Bensons International Academy celebrated Community Helpers day on 25 October 2019 in the school premises with great pomp and show with an aim of stimulating the students imagination and enhancing their social development skills. The celebration began with a special morning assembly conducted by grade 6 students. Some of them were even dressed as doctor, nurse, teacher, lawyer, pilot etc to act out the behavior of respective community helpers and display their contribution in the society. Students were able to identify different types of community helpers and explain how these Jobs benefit the community. A community needs many people to help it function well and make the world a better place to live. Educating students about the community helpers and the kind of roles that they play in our daily lives is highly important indeed they remind us of how interconnected we all are when we live in a community.
